The goal is Bermuda.
Every 2 years (even numbers) since 1906, the Cruising Club of America has held a race from Newport RI to Bermuda. It is a 635 mile race across the Gulf Stream. The race takes place in early June. Early enough that the weather can really be just about anything.
Along with Sydney-Hobart and the Fastnet Race, it is considered one of the classic big offshore races.
Ranger has competed in Newport-Bermuda a few times before- as Eagle with her previous owner. She has also competed in other well known offshore races including the Marion-Bermuda race and the Marblehead-Halifax race.
Because of her pedigree as an offshore racing vessel, Ranger comes ready with many essential safety upgrades that make her perfect for these races.
Our plan is to get Ranger Back to Bermuda for the 2026 race. (***PENDING GRADUATION SCHEDULES***)
